Join us for the weekend as we gather to watch the Homecoming Parade, enjoy a classroom experience and learn more about what is happening on campus. The University of Mississippi wants to ensure that our students have the tools necessary to engage in healthy relationships and lifestyles as they continue their pursuit of higher education. Student relationships can be with a friend or partner, and these relationships can become intimate.

Looking back through 2018 at all the activities and accomplishments at the University of Mississippi might take some time. From the university being included in the elite group of research institutions to a student making history as the university’s first female Rhodes Scholar, 2018 was certainly a year to remember.
Business Students Learn Label Manufacturing in the Windy City
Three University of Mississippi business students were among 60 undergraduates from 20 U.S. colleges and universities chosen to participate in the Private Label Manufacturers Association’s third annual University Outreach program. The meeting, held Nov. 10-13 in Chicago, was in conjunction with PLMA’s annual trade show. The program provided students with an immersive experience in the grocery retailing and store-brand industry.
Family’s Gift to UM Gives Support to Suicide Prevention
Ray Shafer’s suicide left an empty chair at the dinner table, a hole in the hearts of those who loved him and a list of questions his family and friends will never be able to answer.
Student to Work with Smithsonian on Expat Female Artists
University of Mississippi student Grace Moorman is going to Washington for the spring 2019 semester to work as a curatorial intern at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Portrait Gallery on a project that highlights the contributions of 20th century women to the arts.
